MECHANICAL GAUGE
The Mechanical portion consists of- Suspension Unit and
- Sensing unit
The Suspension Unit helps to fix the Sensing Unit on the Grinding machine and also to bring the Sensing Unit in contract with the job. A Torsion spring is provided in the Suspension Unit to adjust the required tension for the Sensing Unit. Depending on whether this spring is left hand or right hand, the unit with the end block is offered as LH or RH.
The Sensing unit is the one which senses the dimension of the job. The initial setting is achieved at the sensing and through screw adjustments.
The initial setting can speedily be set with the help of a "set zero knob" provided on the front panel. The adjustment range is hundred microns.
